After a day of cruising around in that nice Mustang loaner, I got an update on repair status of my Fiesta. Service center informed me that an oil sensor has died. I guess it’s both good and bad:
– less than 70 miles, and there’s already trouble. Yes, it’s beta, and I’m being an early adopter, so to speak, but it’s just a bit alarming
– no oil leak, system had plenty of oil, hence no engine damage. Dealership helped greatly, gave loaner car without any questions. Given somewhat mixed experience of actually signing on the dotted line, this gives me hope that should anything else go haywire, the problem will be addressed quickly and efficiently.
